CSCO to buy more companies!!!! This was intended to add spark to the header.

Anyway, a review of CSCO in the SI Company Profiles shows that inside the '95 10-K form, CSCO expects the number of vendors(competitors) to increase due to growth opportunities in the industry. But this will be offset by mergers and acquisitions by CSCO and by its vendors. This isn't new if you have been following CSCO casually. Stratacom, Precept Soft., Hashoba Ntwks, Granite Sys., etc.

And recently, CSCO announced that 6-10 companies could be acquired in the coming year. Who will they be? Some names I came across that are for entertainment purposes only: AXON, Network General, NETSYS Tech, RADCOM Equipment, Frontier Software, Net2Net, Shiva, Ancor.

Also, as an added bonus for those that do not live in the Silicon Valley area, CSCO is expanding by building up to 10 multistory buildings at a new campus facility. CSCO is receiving assistance from both the City and the State. I believe that company expansion through construction is an unappreciated indicator of company growth and company health, that equates to stock value.

Anyone care to discuss CSCO's aquisitions or...?
