The problem is that widespread cheating can occur which is simply not fraud. And the law doesn't consider cheating, only fraud -- which is ALWAYS difficult to prove. A gimmick. People who overlook cheating as damaging to society are not getting the crux of the issue. I never thought any of those cases would win once I found out they were all fraud cases. I naively assumed that things like preventing legally required partisan observers would just be dismissed because they weren't fraud. Stupid-assed system IMO.

Similar answer. What Zuckerberg did was cheating but was not against the law. It is now, at least in the Republican states where corruption and cheating are frowned upon. New Yorkers and Chicagoans love cheating. But Republicans? Nope. At any rate, that has been a win for the good guys in the days since the 2020 election.
