I did that once but I don't remember anything about it other than it was long. Remind me. What about it rather than the regular form speaks to the matter of citizenship.
We were on it (I'm not sure what they called it then) for several months as part of the 1980 Census. At the time I was working insanely long hours, and they wanted to interview both of us, but I was never there until the end. Each time my wife, who was home with our first child, was interviewed intensively for about an hour IIRC. It was the same woman each time and I recall my wife saying she was a little shocked at my work hours but it was funny because i was coming to the end of the development and testing on a project and had to be at the office from about 9am until after midnight many nights.

I think I showed up at the tail end of the series and was interviewed by the woman. It seems like one week during that time I had 83 hours.

Anyway, the process was quite lengthy.
