I would rather hire an engineer from Cornell than Columbia I've worked in Silicon Valley for 40 years and don't recall ever meeting an engineer from Columbia. I've met many from Cornell. My sister is an Ohio State alum and I like to rag on her that I've never once met a buckeye engineer here either. For such an arrogant university that is telling imo.
