I agree... so why are we giving them $26 billion more? Are they endanger of losing? Basically because of habit not reason.
There's also reason behind it, but I agree with the "habit" part.
If we would have stopped welfare to Israel long ago they would have had to negotiate and obey UN mandates. Israelis & Palestinians would both be better off.
That's highly debatable.

More likely is that Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, the Houthi camel-fukkers, etc. would be emboldened by the U.S. withdrawing support from Israel.

After all, look at how RuZZia was emboldened by the withholding of military aid to Ukraine.

To be sure, Israel probably doesn't need it as much as Ukraine does, but the truth is that Israel and the U.S. are in a military alliance.

Whether we should be or not is still a discussion worth having, as long as you aren't one of those woke protesters LARPing as refugees from Gaza.
