I am sorry for your loss and the pickle your Dad left for your mother after his death. Sadly, it’s not uncommon. I strongly encourage all men and, particularly, women to gain financial literacy or at the very least have a trust worthy wealth advisor. The good news is that many financial firms now will assist even those individuals with very low savings.
