Sundry Photography/iStock Editorial via Getty Images ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) announced new collaborations in generative artificial intelligence with Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and IBM (NYSE: IBM) on Wednesday at its Knowledge 2024 conference in Las Vegas. ServiceNow is incorporating IBM's watsonx into its Now Platform, as well as IBM's watsonx.ai and IBM Granite foundation large language models into its Now Assist GenAI. "The Now Platform helps customers deploy the LLM that best fits their unique needs, and incorporating watsonx models will help customers create more intuitive, efficient and seamless experiences," said ServiceNow's Chief Operating Officer CJ Desai. The new integrated service is expected to be available on Thursday, May 9. ServiceNow also announced an expanded alliance with Microsoft, combining Now Assist with Copilot. The combination of ServiceNow and Microsoft AI assistants are intended to improve productivity, as Copilot will be able to send employee requests to Now Assist in Microsoft Teams. "Whether it's requesting or resolving a customer's support issue, or even getting connected to a live agent for support on a complex problem, Now Assist will provide employees with responses to questions as well as recommend actions and next steps in a conversational manner," ServiceNow explained. The companies are also creating additional capabilities, such as allowing employees to engage a Copilot from ServiceNow for document creation in PowerPoint or other Microsoft 365 applications. "The seamless integration of our AI-powered assistants will help usher in improved levels of employee and IT productivity, reduce context switching and ensure easier execution of everyday work tasks, adding to the value of our customers' technology investments," said Rajesh Jha, executive vice president of experiences and devices at Microsoft. ServiceNow provides a cloud-based platform for enterprise and IT management. More on IBM, Microsoft, etc.

Seems a sensible approach by $ NOW. I’d like to buy the stock but it’s a wee expensive. Maybe buy a fractional position for now.

ServiceNow has zero legit AI in their platform, currently.
Source: I’ve been a developer in the platform daily for the past 12 years. I also use to work there.

@Snoopy86 Saw the live stream, it’s all smoke & mirrors and marketing jargon.
What apps, processes in the platform use Gen AI?

@Stop The Printer worked there for some time. Horrible management culture with constant reorgs, and politics. It’s a ticketing software so don’t even understand the hype.

Seems more companies are partnering with Microsoft than any other AI or cloud provider. I see them reaching $500 share price within this year.
