Welcome back Chowder !!!

All my accounts are now transferred over to Fidelity. The last, a Trust account took awhile so now the dust is still settling.
I sold 1/2 my Apple in my Roth (other accounts also but the ROTH held the most shares). The cash went into SPAXX. It doubled my dividends which is good since I really am retiring completely in 3 months and will depend on my SS and Dividends for retirement. I have 4 retirement accounts, a ROTH, TIRA, two 401k's. The latter 3 are small compared to my ROTH which I have been contributing to since I was 25yo.
So, I was thinking of laddering some CD's. I was also looking at Treasury Bonds but that is new territory for me (I know what they are but I've never bought them). I'd like to maintain my dividends and lower my risk. My ROTH has 34 holdings. The OFP has a lot of CEF's that I don't really understand in terms of buying and selling. I prefer long term since I'm flying by the seat of my pants, haha. In the meantime I have cash in SPAXX and was thinking I should move some of it into other investments. Any advice, recommendations welcome, thank you.

BTW - I got an email this morning from LEJOY at SA telling me how great the new weekly chat group is but I'm still annoyed at how they closed down Big Thunder's blog - which I depended on for numerous reasons.
I'm happy here, following along and getting used to the setup.
