RM,
I think there was a character from the previous pro Putin Ukrainian government who advised him that. He was a prisoner in Ukraines and was later exchanged in a POW exchange.
Right, but once "Three Days to Kyiv" didn't work according to plan, PooTin should have pulled back and stopped his invasion altogether.

Then he should have done damage control and convinced the West that he won't do it again, that they could still use his oil and his natural gas, and that RuZZia will once again participate in the "rules-based world order."

But nope. He doubled-down after his failure.

And he continues to double-down, as we can see from the increased rate of attrition, both in terms of manpower and RuZZian armored vehicles.

All-in-all, PooTin is revealing who he is and what he will do afterwards if he is allowed to take Ukraine.

And that has woken NATO from its slumber.

Even Sweden and Finland ditched their neutrality stance because they saw that appeasing PooTin was the wrong way to go.
