I did some consolidation into XEL a while back....hmmm, that didn't go so well. I also have a bunch of D and we all know how that has been going. I de-consolidated just recently and bought more WEC and brought XEL down to a smaller position. With all the disasters that just seem to happen and the drop of a match, or a power line....I'm not consolidating Utilities. However maybe consolidating into a Utility fund is a better option, then you don't have to manage a bunch of individual positions.
