Good Morning E_K_S,

Renewables being used by AI computing centers is almost an oxymoron.

Computing centers need nonstop energy. The kind of energy called baseload energy.

If fossil fuels iare not the predominant source of electricity, then someone drank a lot of kool Aid. <smile>

With shale oil being the only fossil fuel growth in the world, then natural gas and ng Liquids are assured to be plentiful in the future.

Shale oil wells deplete quickly and as they deplete they become gassier and provide less crude.

I see the CO2 capture and sequestration as becoming a requirement for wells, as the flaring of gas becomes more and more frowned on (illegal or at least punished with by fines).

As a side note, Have you ever heard of Pro Petro - symbol PUMP?

Pump was an upstart in late 2018.

It was partially funded (10%) by Pioneer Natural Resources (subsequently acquired by XOM).

XOM just had to disclose its new position in 16,600,000 shares of ProPetro.

Literally a day before they announced the completion of the Pioneer acquisition, they announced a 3 year contract for three and possibly four of their 14 frac teams. Pioneer's operation used ProPetro frac teams 100%.

ProPetro's differentiating characteristic is their fracing hydraulics does not use diesel power, it uses electricity. This reduces the carbon footprint of drilling and fracing wells. Their previous quarter had a 18 cent loss. The most recent quarter reported just last week had a 16 cent gain. They have announced the completion of their transition to electricity for their entire fleet. They also have silver tip seismic and a cementing completion service:
