Israel has one of the most liberal societies that progressives in the USA can only dream about.

Firstly, there is socialized medicine in Israel and it works very well with great physicians and surgeons. Secondly, college is basically free for all with individuals paying only a small fee. Thirdly, Israel has a very generous and open attitude towards gays, giving them full rights. Fourthly, abortion is legal in Israel and almost always permitted. Most abortions are performed during the first trimester. It is rare for an abortion to be denied.
