I remember my history teacher well. Taught some handy stuff. I was not very good at English or English Literature. English Literature was kind of repetitive, and I really did wonder why I had to learn all that chit!....

Just to break the routine, I actually started reading some books by a new author at the time. A guy called Road Dahl. My Dad snatched the book from my hands "What you reading son? and then read a little of the book himself. Pronounced the book "CRAP"... Dad said Dahl was just trying to copy other famous authors style and technique. I read all Road Dahl's books on learning that news.
