ZDR's take: If you don't like using Safari or wish to have an alternative browser on hand, I highly recommend using Firefox over Google's Chrome. I uninstalled Chrome years ago and never looked back.

Firefox ESR is a great alternative to regular Firefox as well, as it has far less frequent UI changes and its updates focus on fixing security issues only. It's what I use here on SI.
