John Paul, it's not struggling in growth, obviously. It's struggling to manage its worldwide CDMA problem -- Korean demand, conversion from GSM to CDMA, disputes over WCDMA intellectual property, etc. That's all I meant. It is struggling. If it weren't, the stock would be a lot higher than 47. Just to let you all in on a possibility no one wants to discuss, it may even lose this battle.

This is a very touchy thread. If I or anyone else say something that goes against the party line that "QCOM is awesome; it is a great near-term, medium-term and long-term buy." they get very emotional responses.

The $100 million Lucent fund is clearly not appropriate for a company with revenues of $3.8 billion.
