Bob, no cottonwood seeds yet. That comes later. We're just out of winter, leaves just came out about a week ago. Not too many cottonwoods around my place but a few I think, kind of hard to tell the difference between them and aspen sometimes. Wonder if they cross.
Just as soon not have any aspen or blackwood cottonwood. I cut one up for firewood, cured it out, decent heat but leaves a lot of ash. Plenty of it around in places. Kind of a pretty wood, makes nice wood paneling.
NG looks real good to me. We're a growing country, a growing economy, and gonna need more juice.
Afa I know no coal plants under construction. A big nuke plant was just commissioned, but that is it for a long time in the US. Probably more will slowly come off line, before more come online. Would be happening but some states are subsidizing them, they need the carbon credits. Nuclear right now I believe is the most expensive electricity in the US. Fuel costs are low, but the plants are maintenance intensive.
One nuclear plant underway but will be several years. I believe heavily funded by the DOE, i.e. tax dollars.

That leaves NG for the big plants. Plus the demand for LNG exports still growing.
Your KMI breaking up nicely.
