Bill, I have a tough time believing that Cohen covered it up all on his own, and Trump has no knowledge of it whatsoever. Trump and his defense team are also denying that the sexual encounter with the pron star even took place. Deny deny deny. So much for their own credibility. There's a reason why the defense didn't put Trump on the stand. Any reasonable doubt that still existed in the mind of any juror would have been erased had that guy opened his big fat mouth. So yeah, I think #1 was proven. I personally would not have any reasonable doubt, based on what I've seen about the case. Whether the cover-up itself should be considered a crime, that I'm not so sure about, which is why I have always considered this case to be the weakest of Trump's four criminal indictments.
