I have been around SI for about 25 years and read thousands of posts, and what I do not understand are the posters, mostly conservative Republicans (MAGA), that just never seem to learn anything.

How is that even possible?

They read thousands of posts, where the facts and logic are laid out well, and they never learn a thing!?

They must just be refusing learn, but I don't get it.

The perfect example is the Big Lie about the 2020 election being stolen.

There was 60 court cases claiming fraud brought to the courts by Republicans and NOT even ONE was found to have merit.

60 to 0.

The Republicans could not even find ONE instance of significant fraud and yet 50% believe it was stolen with hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes.

One doesn't have to have a degree in statistics to know that the chances of significant fraud are close to zero.

How can so many people be willing to join the lie!? They must know it is all a lie, at least a lot of them.

The Republican party will wear this stain on their integrity for a long time. History will not be kind.

"An October 2022 Washington Post analysis found that 51% of Republican nominees for House, Senate and key statewide offices in nearly every state that year denied or questioned the 2020 presidential election outcome."
