What we will find over time is that EVs will cause just as much environmental damage as ICEs.
I don't give a Brandon about environmental damage. Pretty much anything is going to have an impact on the environment short of us adopting an ascetic lifestyle.

All those iPhones that the environ-mentalists carry around, for example, have an environmental impact. Same with the cloud computing servers that enable these environ-mentalists to upload selfies and videos while they go out protesting against oil and Israel and whatnot.

Same with the basics such as air conditioning. Do these snowflakes want to forego it? Even though A/C units are basically heat pumps, and heat pumps are supposed to be "environmentally-friendly," they still represent a major drain on the electrical grid.

So no, I don't think pointing out the environmental impact of EVs will mean anything to the left. Just like most Americans these days, they are very comfortable with living with a set of self-contradictions.
