Shane, do you have any influence with Wilf or Andy what's-his-name, to call them and get them to decide who gets to use the system-on-a-chip moniker? Didn't LSI start using it first? Actually, in the article attached, the Intel guy doesn't use the term, just the writer uses it. Point is that if it gets out that the 800 lb. gorilla wants to play with a little guy's matches, the little guy could be toast, maybe just to Wall Street, but still...They are different products in this case. LSI's SOS are core ware/ASICS SOS's like the playstation controller; Intel's SOS are the result of their forever swallowing up of chips peripheral to the CPU, by the CPU.
