I think it is Oxford Nanopore that has the MinION machine. I have bunches of fungi samples sequenced and many have been recently switched from Sangor (ILMN) to MinION. My gut feel is that the Oxford Nanopore is not living up to the hope and hype of much lower cost. Well cost is lower but the quality of results may end up being disappointing. Some real red flags but are they the machine or those trained to run them?

Should be a fun space to watch going forward!
