Hmm, in spite of rereading what you posted, I am getting a very different message from what you say you meant. Maybe it is because I have many friends who are of colour and/or immigrants, so I have become sensitive to what they go through in their everyday lives.

For example, I have heard several recent documentaries on how people of colour are usually treated when they venture into the woods in Canada, constantly surveilled and reminded that they don't belong. FWIW, I talked to some friends and they also reported similar incidents, plus I heard some more stories of being pulled over for driving while black, and of being tailed around stores because of their skin colour

Regardless, though there are other factors like poor forestry practises, it is clear from the evidence the overwhelming cause of the increase in wildfires is the increase in drought and temperatures due to climate change.

I know you don't like to admit that, so you are always searching for alternative explanations. I do hope you realize someday that your search will turn out to be a waste of time.
