There's an amazing tornado video over the Hurricanes board, which I definitely recommending searching out.

Benny, I see the series of storms that created all the tornadoes are heading your way. I hope you can avoid a direct hit.

Now we have another reason to avoid flying. In between the two airplane turbulence incidence last week, I heard an interview with a leading expert in the field who says that as the atmosphere gets more charged, that turbulence, particularly turbulence without any clouds around, will increase, not exponentially but more than a linear increase compared to the ambient temperatures.

Thanks to two weeks of helpful weather, the 5000 people evacuated from NE BC are being allowed to return today. However, the weather system arriving in the area is supposed to include strong winds and lightning, and even two weeks of precip was not enough to have much of an effect on the ongoing drought, so there are fears of new fires and new evacuations.
