Just had an email from my MP. Tory big wig, influential and good at his job. I sent him a bunch of requests and his office were most helpful. Competent.

He is standing down at the next election, and made it clear, that as of July 5th he is no longer our MP. In fact he points out that Parliament is dissolved as of tomorrow therefore he has already left Dodge City and headed for the hills.

I added the "Dodge city and the hills" bit, but his words were not much different. Something bad is coming down the pike and these MP's know it, and want no part of it. They are not even willing to mention what it is.

77 Tories, 30 Labour, 24 others.
