A Republican would never do this and Hoover never did! Hoover also fought the unions.
People were suffering, starving, in the worst way in the depression in 1932. Hoover did nothing, while FDR put 8.5 million people to work! That is why they voted him in for four times.!
PS: and of course, the Republicans fought his New Deal!
