Just today on CNBC someone quoted an article or a survey saying that many Americans feel that fast food is a luxury. The hosts were shocked at this. I was irritated! These results didn’t mean that Americans equate fast food with Ferrari’s and fur coats! They meant that when it comes to eating at home or eating fast food, the $10 plus per person to eat out at McDonald’s is too much to justify eating out. This is what the Democrats miss. And what you point out on many posts…..the “everyday American” is being priced out of a lot of what was considered basic and cheap only 5 years ago.
