I would like to ask a question of all those saying the MMs will not fill.
Are you putting in "all or none" orders?
If not, then your broker is a lousy SOB.
The MMs have no choice but to fill 500 shares at $2.375 as soon as the order is placed. None whatsoever. Then they can adjust. If they do not -- then they must fill 500 more at the ask, etc. I filled 1000 at the ask the other day within seconds even though they were only offering 500 -- but my order was NOT all or none.
I do not want to see people who do not know better, mislead by statements by people who say the MMs will not fill -- they will fill if you order is a limit for the current ask and the current lot available at that ask. (Obviously your order can be superceded by another identical order, but you will know it because the volume is so low on this stock.)
