Watching Glencore to see what they do with the coal properties they purchased from the virtue signaling TECK. If Glencore creates a listed "spinco" for the coal properties, I'm probably a buyer of the spinco

(MT Newswires) -- Glencore (GLEN.L, GLN.JO) will begin shareholder consultations regarding the future of its coal business upon completion of its acquisition of Teck Resources' mines later in 2024, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing the company's Chief Executive Officer Gary Nagle.
Nagle told shareholders during the annual general meeting the same day that the outcome of the consultations would decide the next move on the coal business.
The Swiss commodity trading and mining company's executive added that if a majority decided to keep the business, there would be no vote.
