You are absolutely wrong. Trump will get an an appeal and ultimately this case will go to the Supreme Court where it will be dismissed. Moreover, once Trump becomes President, he will not be able to serve time in a State Prison. So, the earliest Trump would have to serve his sentence, if elected President, would be after his time as President was over. By that time, the Supreme Court would have dismissed the case assuming the justices on the Court remains the same as today.
