What could that mean to current cellular service providers? More penetration for SpaceX because of no existing coverage with terrestrial service providers (legacy carriers) in remote, rural areas. It will work anywhere on the surface of the planet or while airborne. From Antarctica to the middle of any ocean, etc. There is a growing market that legacy cellular carriers simply can't provide today at a cheap cost point. There are some geostationary sats but that service is very expensive requiring specialized handsets.
