Bonnie,

Most of the time I stick to no-load mutual funds and Utilities for the Canadian Market and trade the US Market. We are almost out of the Canadian markets now, but I am watching the energy sector for a bottom.

Most computers in Canada are now sold by some of the US chains (Business Depot, Microage, etc) and the discount warehouses. I was in the computer retail business for 10 years, mostly selling to the Federal Government, but we closed the business and retired when the margins got too slim to be fun anymore.

I saw today that the average price of computers has fallen to $1300 US. This compares with perhaps two or three times that in the past. Together with tight margins, times must be very tough now in the computer retail business.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

John
