There's a new update to Graham Intelligent Investor book coming out. By Zweig who did the previous update. We'll see how he deals with the issue of options and shorting.

There are value threads everywhere. Given that there's not a consensus around a particular stock on why it is or is not a 'value'.

I don't see why there can't be a board or SubjectMark where we deal specifically with the stock of a company and whether it's a buy or not. If it's not, then leaving it - Not discussing/justifying shorting it.

Of course I realize options are a tool for investing, so use it as is wanted. I don't see though why there can't be one board/Subjectmark dealing with value where options strategies and option specifics are kept out of the discussion.
