Putin is hearing you. Putin knows he would be one of the first casualties of a nuclear war. Not that NATO would target him, they wouldn't have to. It's not a matter of provoking Putin, he is already on a course of escalation because his ego, his sense of crisis, and lack of a peaceful plan means he has to escalate. The west's best idea is to rid the world of him, and his political system earlier rather than later. It's not a fight we can avoid.
