You're right not to take these numbers to any other level. The calculation of $100 - 300 / tonne comes from simply taking the interval and working out the value of the mineral in it. The values we used were gold at $300/oz , silver at $6/oz, and lead at $0.24/pound. We didn't include the zinc or copper values.

You cannot accurately project anything beyond this, with the validity increasing in areas where the intercepts are closer together, and weakening as they are further apart. It's just another way of assessing what you have but not of projecting beyond the ballpark.
