Pocotrader, all the child abuse by so called religious people may have something to do with it. there is a guy on twitter posting the abusers being caught. Pastors, Priests, Christian youth workers, Boy Scout leaders and cops This is a common stereotype that atheists love to bring up. In all of the (Protestant) churches I have attended, in all of the Christian fellowships and Bible study groups that I have participated in, I have not seen one instance of sexual abuse. I did hear about one instance, however. A church pastor that I knew very well was alleged to have covered up a rape that happened between two youth group teenagers. The girl went to the youth pastor for help, but the youth pastor encouraged her to let it go and not speak about it. When I saw the news, I facepalmed knowing that the youth pastor royally screwed up. Tenchusatsu P.S. - I have seen more than my fair share of church politics, much more than I care to admit. However, none of that was ever sexual in nature.
