>>Share holders like you and me account for less then 5% of the total outstanding shares.<<

Calvin, 5% seems very low. Total outstanding shares amount to a little over 70 Mil. and 5% of that is only 3.5 Mil. Can that be right?

Back in Oct. 97 according to Baron's TEO owned approximately 7.1% of CRUS' stock. With his new purchases and no sales this percentage continues to move up. I have not added all the purchase but I now believe (I said I believe . . not know) he owns more shares than Hackworth. At the time when he owned 7.1% the only other MMs were Merrill, FMR, Twentieth Century, and T. Rowe Price that had filed Form 13D's with the SEC, a required form for any group owning 5% OR MORE stock in a company. In your post you said. . .

>>But, unless he has a coalition with one of the major MMs holding 15% - 20% or more of the shares, he is reduced to a small voice.<<

I have never seen a 13D filed for a group that owns 15% - 20%. I know of no group that holds this stock position CRUS.

Some time back you wrote the following post to me:

>>Richard, your comments are well taken and make some very good points. But, for what it is worth, word at Cirrus is that Mr. Teo is "just" a thorn in their sides. I like outside thorns, it keeps everyone honest. Everyone has to remember though that the stockholders prior to and up until now are mainly MMs. I do believe that Mr. Teo, with his investment, is now an MM (at least in CRUS). Yes, most of what I stated in my post is opinion based on some inputs. But I really really like the fact that we have someone of Mr. Teo's credentials in the fight with us.<<

I take it that you still appreciate the fact that TEO is still in the fight with us?

Calvin, I'm not trying to put you under the microscope or asking you to write a book. I respect your posts and am just looking for a little clarification. Thanks.

>>BARRON'S this week on page 40 "13D filing" under increase in holding:

Alfred teo own 4,769,500 shares (7.1%) as a result of purchases of 780,000 shares from Aug 27 to Oct 2 at $14.25-17.50 per share.<<
