The only way Trump can advance the more extreme elements of his agenda is if he obtains a supermajority in both chambers of Congress.

Rs will almost certainly lose big in the House and lose a bit in the Senate. If Trump does somehow get elected he'll have his "Pen and Phone" as Obama had after being shellacked in the midterms. I believe this scenario is much more dangerous as he'll have to act as a dictator in order to inflict his revenge.
