| | | Right steak, They wouldn't I don't think they could. I have never heard of anyone getting a salary, etc for being just a board member, Might be wrong, but do not think it is allowed. Honorariums and expenses are it as far as I know. A board member can also be a company employee/executive, and of course would get a salary, etc, for that role. But then they would not be an independent board member.
Sadly the boards seem to be repeating history again: The silly-buggers stuff always erupts when SP is under attack, news is non existent. and stress and anger boil over, Lost track of the times we have gone through this over the years, Must say though, I am impressed how much long it has taken for it to happen this time. The restraint was admirable, while it lasted. |
