Lovely Saturday, overcast, expecting storm, grey sky, atmospheric, and simply lovely, not just because it is Saturday.
Saturday is when we get to say the quiet parts out loud.
(1) am told that when the USSR dissolved the Slavic population in USSR was ~51% ?
(1-a) Meaning had the USSR not dissolved when it did, it would have dissolved very soon in all cases by modern narrative, just saying, and out loud
(1-b) What Russia now needs is more Slavic people, and the quickest get of such is happening, in Ukraine East, ~10M+ accretion at least already embraced, comes with common language, one god, compatible culture, and better, own plots of land
(1-c) The USSR dissolution was relatively painless and fast, because whilst the USSR was diverse as a whole, the various republics were and remain relative pure-plays, and the whole can be and was disassembled quickly without too much bloodworks
(1-d) Of course Russia might end up with more than bargained for, but we wait to see, and we watch & brief
(2) I heard that Modi, the fellow championing one language, single god, common culture, and a party, just lost, and lost big
(2-a) Revising the constitution by Modi is now beyond impossible, and certainly not within his natural life span, and so without impetus of his magnetism
(2-b) The 1962 India-China war card as a unifying force is about played out, India lost, definitively, and now it is time to play nice, with China, within BRICS+ and allow nature to take natural course, as China is and shall remain India's largest trading partner, giving new-new meaning to Indo-Pacific
(2-c) Modi cannot turn to or turn on the USA, because USA cannot help him, even as USA + UK together digging into the "Modi Question"
(2-d) Modi must turn to BRICS+, just as Argentina found out same, else Modi must say bye bye to India, and India must say bye bye to rejuvenation, just as Argentina contemplating losing Malvinas for good, and be once again harvested by USA
(3) someone was trying to convince me that the EU had been and still tee-ed up to fight Russia by UK and USA, but hardly able to hold own in every endeavour except woke this way and far right that way
(3-a) Losing air defence equipment at fast clip, willingly, albeit willy-by-the-nilly
(3-b) Self-harmed to guarantee a USA loan to the Ukraines backed by stolen Russian assets
(3-c) Swamped by migrants, and with more on the way
(3-d) Diversity, hard to live with it, and difficult to live without it
(3-e) France, betrayed by supposed allies by AUKUS move, and now on path to lose New Caledonia, and I suppose, if careless, Bora Bora and Tahiti
(4) Rumor whispered that UK, with its two largest cities both mega-supra-diverse cities where the original tribe be less than 50% of the population, is still thinking empires past, unable to realise that it is precisely the empire-building that led to today's, how do i put it politely, "difficulty" will do for now
(4-a) Electioneering time
(4-b) Then off to fight either Russians or Persians, but more likely Houthis and Argentinians
(4-c) Identity politics are open to interpretations, and for whatever reasons happen much in English-speaking domains
(5) In the meantime globalisation 2.0 and Industrialisation 4.0 both going okay, embraced by traditional values even as underpinning the future, common prosperity, shared destiny, de-colonisation, etc etc and in such environment, or so am told. |
