RE: Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, 9.75% Series A Cumul Perp Red Prfd Stk Ticker Symbol: CSSEP

Anybody still hold this? I see my last payment was December 2023. They are cumulative and I see payments were suspended AFTER 12/31/2023.

perplexity.ai

Based on the search results, the most recent dividend payment for CSSEP (Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, Inc. 9.75% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Stock) was on December 15, 2023, not January 15, 2024 as stated in the first result. The key details are:
  • CSSEP is a cumulative preferred stock that pays monthly dividends when declared.
  • The last dividend payment was $0.2031 per share, paid on December 15, 2023 to shareholders of record as of November 30, 2023.
  • Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment had suspended dividend payments on CSSEP in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic impact.
  • The company resumed monthly dividend payments on CSSEP starting from August 2022 after the suspension period.
So in summary, the most recent dividend paid for the 9.75% Series A Cumulative Preferred Stock (CSSEP) of Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment was $0.2031 per share on December 15, 2023, not January 15, 2024 as mentioned in the first search result

I still own a very small number of shares. Preferred last sale at $ 1.35/share so looks like it is priced as if it never resumes those dividends.
