*AV*--Tough crowd both at the Town Meetings and here on the SWAP. no comments on ADI nor on the "scoop" about Symbios.<GG>

Patrick-I am also having some computer glitches. IT seems I get a flicker on the screen then all hell breaks loose. I get this Windows error that bslnks out the screen necessitating a hard reboot which causes the scandisk errors. Funny thing is that a hard shutdown followed by a start up is followed almost to the minute by the same glitch. This is every 5 minutes and there is no screen flicker prior to the glitch. I am getting real tired of re-formatting this system and reloading the software from the original disks or CDs. It's gotten so bad that the SCSI controller board for the HP scanner no longer works when loaded. HP technical support walked me through the issue which resulted in our loading a backup set of drivers. Go figure!!
I still believe it is the new Win95 version 4.00.950b that has theOSR2 stuff that is the root cause.

Next time we go back to the previous version or WinNT to get away from Gates' Debacle.
