E! Scratch those Korean fabs, IMHO.. Hard to believe they could be any competition for LSI or any of the other ASIC's.. Isn't there a bit of design engineering involved before they start slapping ASICs on the market?.. BTW, the ASICs require more complex masks than DRAM... in which case, perhaps you should grab some DPMI..they have a Korean mask plant that could cover anything down to .25.. but DPMI came down from 72 to 26 because they lost ten cents in currency translation on the Korean plant (!!) ((reducing projected year-ahead earnings from $2.40 to $2.30)).. So if the Korean fabs can raise the capital to purchase a few items from my AMAT and TER (or David's TER), then we should all buy DPMI, as their mask sales will jump over previous projections.... And if they were worth 72 before...hmmmmmm do I hold enough DPMI?? <g> TSO
