3 points. - 1- Just as bad money drives out good, bad access to the facts will lead to any idiot making any idiotic PUBLIC judgement on a stock more weighty than it should be. Without guidance from the company itself we'll see guesses and worse driving the market ever more violently in both directions. That proposition is really, REALLY unhelpful. 2 - The tone in several recent posts has been rather harsh and personal. No one I know has a perfect record on prognostication. More importantly, I can't imagine anyone being convinced by the bidirectional flaming going on. You can disagree without being hostile. 3 - I am pretty confident that the Oct-Dec quarter will be rather solid. Any thoughts on the Jan-March quarter in terms of revenues and profits for Intel. Good investing (and my thanks to all those who post such useful information on this thread) Burt
