Eliot A: I'm not talking fruit of any kind, and I'm not quite sure how you read my post to suggest that good fundamentals beget good technicals. But, I disagree that CANSLIM is purely fundamental, and if you treat it as such, you'll perform poorly. My point was I've never seen OBV and MF divergences that one could play in CANSLIM stocks. Slow stochastic and 3/7/10 EMA crossovers, however, occur at great entry points on CANSLIM stocks. I'm currently using them with great success. IBD's A/D ranking is a critical factor in CANSLIM. If there's another A/D, I don't know about it, and don't care to learn it.
