Matthew,

It is easier to get tests approved for vet use than human use.
Currently ABAX's suite of human tests aren't compelling or profitable
enough to convince the typical practitioner to buy a unit yet.
The veterinary ones are currently more beneficial.

Company is currently developing additional human tests that will
make Picallo more attractive in human market. I think they should
be approved late in calender year 1998.

As far as Navy goes, it's their option, they have only had the
first batch of units for a few months. They'll probably evaluate
how beneficial these units are, then decide. How long can that
take?

One other issue that's a wild card...... Competition. There
are at least two competant competitors in the business, one is
ahead of ABAX in human market, the other is a year away from
selling virtually identical systems.
