I believe it isn't twice the long term return, it is twice the daily return. Right? Because returns are a geometric sequence, the two are not equivalent. I'm honestly not certain how it would behave across a bear market, but it was founded in 2006 so ought to be able to figure that out. PortfolioVisualizer has been nerfed for the free version.
