Candle, Rimpinths is taking a cheap shot. I use Interlock. There's also Bibliofind and Advanced Book Exchange, all specializing in used books. And they're all good; I've had best luck with www.bibliofind.com.

If the Internet is perfect for anything, it's used books! I've searched many used book stores looking for a title. The Internet makes child's play out of finding a needle in a haystack. It's the ultimate in convenience.

You've heard the old fast-food saw, "the secret to success is location, location, location." The Internet has a great location!

I don't think AMZN is trying to rip anybody off searching the above sites for someone. They're providing a convenient service. This is, once again, evidence of the import of a well known franchise like AMZN.

It is also evidence - as is the AMZN Associates Program - that AMZN knows this technology and how to take advantage of it. You don't see BKS doing this. Why not? It another revenue source.
