Putting aside the very valid point that be that what be horrid for Team USA might well be terrible for the planet at large, as would might be the same case with all other large domains, and that I wish neither to see my USD savings go down the toilet nor experience a NYSE shutdown, in the extreme, I note below obvious points just-saying …
(1) You the people best choose the best candidate from amongst tee-ed up
(2) Ideally someone who will not waste four years, and do good for your domain ideally for the longer term
(3) In a pinch, at least do no-harm
(4) Am unsure am correct in suspicions, but seems in either candidate’s case a bespoke team will be engaged and involved, with one current candidate possibly unable to read, and another perhaps unwilling to read, and so team dynamics take control
(5) In both cases the outcome would be resulting in a single 4-years term at the very most, an interesting parameter / de-limiter, neither necessarily good nor need be bad, all depending on lots of ifs ands ors buts
(6) In such case that be (5), gold and equities ought to do well, and USD and bonds less-good, suggestive
