I believe with interest rates dropping and new housing starts at a all time high "both" HD and LOW have a good future. I am biased toward LOW because they have less shares outstanding with more room for growth ( Mainly in southeast but expanding in Northeast and Midwest), however I can't go against the proven track record of HD so my strategy is to go long on both. In my opinion they both will do well but I'm not sure which one will be the better investment so I'll take the average of the two. Good luck to all! JA
