Many Jews, including myself, have had direct conversations with G-d. I have this on a daily basis. Just because a person has been inspired by G-d does not mean that G-d controls all human behavior. There are many humans who do good things in the world and are beautiful human beings who are atheists and agnostics. My first wife was one of those people.
